This video demonstrates how the new Escape Anchor Hook from CMC can be used to rescue a Firefighter or Civilian - This procedure is implemented only when conventional rescue techniques are not an option.

It's important to note that CMC or any other rope rescue equipment manufacturer does not necessarily condone or approve using a Personal Escape System (PES) for this type of application. A PES is intended for a single use and single load application by the Firefighter carrying it. The User bears full responsibility for any deviation outside the parameters originally designed for PES deployment.

None of the techniques shown in this video should ever be attempted without first receiving training from a qualified Instructor. As always any above grade training must incorporate complete fall arrest protection for all the individuals involved - Including a full body harness and a properly staffed and anchored belay line.
