Dude, I caught on pretty quick what it is that you were trying to accomplish. It's kind of a road map, and lots of time, what you are looking for is right under your nose. Ha Ha Ha... I have always gone by the philosophy that there is no such thing as a silly or stupid question. To take the time to ask a question shows intellect and intelligence, or as I prefer to call your kind, "our" kind... we are survivors. Keep pursuing information. Don't forget young grasshopper, the one thing that can never be taken away from you is education, and knowledge is power... keep asking questions.

But in the same context they kind of are! i got them mixed up a few days ago with my dad and he was kinda skeptical of my thoughts but when i put my teen aged thoughts out there he understood what i was talking about because they are both for breathing in places that people wore not meant to breath. one is just under the surface of water and the other is under the cover of smoke.

Find a Distributor from some of the scba makers (ISI, Scott) and just ask questions. (Like the motions the company goes through to make them, Laws and such, etc etc...)
Scba companies have their hands full for sure...
