BALTIMORE - Firefighters are battling a multi-alarm blaze in downtown Baltimore in the adult entertainment district.

Smoke spread over much of downtown Monday afternoon in the 400 block of Baltimore Street, an area known as The Block. Two office building were
evacuated.

Grayish smoke continue to pour out of at least one building. Firefighters on ladders and cranes are pouring water on buildings.

The firefighters' union said the blaze was at five alarms but so far, no injuries
were reported.

The Block is a neighborhood of strip clubs with gaudy lights, including Larry Flynt's Hustler Club. Some of the venues are historic
theaters.

NNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
So much for my vacation plans! LOL
So how many FF's were going up to scantily clad dancers and offering their turnout coat to keep them warm? LOL
That was just the first one of the night same crews had another 5 alarmer a couple hours later.
So sad.... I wonder if they saved the pole....
At the very least, the heat from the fire sterilized the pole!

On a side note, I just saw on the news that a town about 15 miles to the east of me had a fire today at their Gentleman's Club!!
Must be some hot dancing going on
