So a Chapter Has Closed, yet another one is starting

Hey guys,
Just thought id give you guys an update. Many of you know i was in a College course to become a state certified firefighter. Well, last tuesday, i took my state exam for firefighting, and as of friday, i passed, made an 86 overall, and passed all 4 sections, including HazMat. so having that done, the next part is to become EMT-Basic certified. i have a CPR course in December, and then EMT-Basic school starts in january. i am incredibly amazed how far ive come since i first started, yet i know i have a long way to go. Thanks guys, i appreciate it. i heard that Austin is hiring right now, so thats an option, and since HFD is cutting back right now, its gonna be harder to get in, so im gonna keep all options open

Congratulations, hang in there, you can start testing soon. My brother is on Ladder 36 in Austin, you should test there, it is a great job.
