In NJ, are Capt's LT's allowed Red/Blue Light's? or are they only allow red/clear and blue/white for regular volly's I came across a vehicle on youtube and noticed it's from NJ.

All blue unless your Cheif or first asst chief. then you may have red. Here's a copy of the law.

What a waste!
I could see if it was a dodge, or a ford, that might justfy it, cuz people really should be warned when those are on the road..so they can watch for parts falling off.. but that chevy.. yikes.. that is just overkill, and really a distraction to other drivers.. It would take way too long for people to figure out WTF is coming down the road, an emergency vehicle, or a whacker! (and there is a big difference) or a UFO. Too much time for the driver to looking away from the road! They might even panic and just run off into the ditch to save themselves! lol
So is this setup illegal?
