as long as it runs good and pumps good then it works for me I think most of this my truck is better than yours stuff is kinda trivial and I hva found most of the time when a P.O.S. pumper does not "do the job" it can be traced back to one of two things in MOST not all situations 1: anything mechanical needs to have things like proper mantinance and not just kicking the tires and 2: this tends to be what we run into around my area, belive it or not but training on how to work your aperative every now and then does wonders and also saves on the Embarrassing stories of how some other Dept had to run your engine at the fire just my thoughts.

A fire truck is the sum of its parts.... motors, transmissions, axles, pumps, hydraulics and electronics.

Every apparatus manufacturer makes a good truck... otherwise they wouldn't be in business
Every apparatus manufacturer makes lemons... otherwise, we would have nothing to bitch about.

Go to any dealer..whether it be Pierce, Seagrave, KME, E-One or any other dealer and you will see trucks in for repairs.

A friend's FD has 2 new Seagrave pumpers... one chassis number apart, both delivered at the same time. One of the pumpers has had no problems, the other has been in the shop constantly...

I just hope it's not too far away, making the siren noise makes my throat hurt after a mile or so!!
