Fires and wires always cause the IC to stop and re-evaluate the safety of his/her personnel and the overall operation. Is this location the very best for the application of water for fire suppression and/or vertical ventilation to assist the interior crews working on the top floor fire?

Would another location be better to maintain long term safety, especially for access to the roof (vent), or increased movement of the aerial device required to hit the fires at the roof and on the top floor? Remember that fire conditions often draw us to locations prior to the completion of the 360* evaluation. Aerial devices once commited are very difficult to re-locate.

Stay safe out there and God Bless America!
