WOODSTOCK, Ga. - Authorities say a person who burned a pizza triggered a fire that damaged five Cherokee County townhomes Thursday.

Nobody was injured in the incident authorities say happened along Magnolia Leaf Way, in Woodstock.

Fire officials say a resident of a townhome was cooking a pizza that caught fire.

They say he tossed the burning pizza out the backdoor of his home - but it landed on some grass that caught fire.

Authorities say the fire spread to several wooden decks behind the townhomes, triggering some propane tanks on grills stored on the decks to explode and spread fire to the townhomes.
