Thanks for the link. So far I have not been able to hear anything but I will experiment a bit more later. I also listen to police fire ems scanner here in Canada. I think smaller department officers, can learn a great deal about the IMS, and radio comms. just by listening to some of the larger dept. I am sure that radio coms. is a serious issue with many departments, and learning proper radio ettiquette, procedures etc.. will help. To me its more than pushing the mic and yapping! lol

You're right. Many different ways of skinning the cat so to speak, as long as the outcome is the same or similar. I tried to listen to a few different depts. in the USA, and I sometimes found it hard to actually understand them. lol Sure glad us Canadians don't have accents! LOL One thing I don't get is when someone tells us we say "aboot" instead of "about" lol too funny. stay safe k!
I enjoy listening to this quite a bit. It's interesting to hear the different accents, and radio etiquette from the different parts of the country.
