Got in to a rather humorous discussion last night about some of the runs we have made in the past where the pt. did not appear to have all their mental faculties in operation. The humorous part was the terms used to describe these individuals. Here are some of MY favorites and I hope some of my brethren out there can possibly add to my library.

The oldies but goodies:

His elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor.
The lights are on, but nobodies home.
She's a few bricks shy of a full load.

Some of my personal favorites:

She's about a half a bubble out of plumb.
The cheese done slipped off of his cracker.
She's got snakes in her head.
He's a few fries short of a happy meal.
Her 'tater ain't completely baked.
He's been known to argue with the soap dish.

Or as my dear, departed grandma used to say," That girl is turned funny..."

Now it's your turn!
