Actually, I'm aware of all the above. But even though career GUYS do light fires, it's rare compared to these gosh-durn vollies in the same way that it's rare for female firefighters to light fires. It doesn't strike me as unusual for headline writers to seize on an unusual aspect of a news story.
Wasn't it just a couple of years ago that a fire Chief and his son got charged with arson somewhere in Ky or Tenn? They were lighting fires in their response area or something like that. I don't know. We all are attracted to the pretty flames like moths but a few take it too far. Sadly these few reflect on the rest of the fire service.

Stay safe everybody!!!
The thing is that it is happening all over. Doesn't matter who. We have people who let their minds get on the wrong track and want something to happen and will go out let the evil flow into them and do something most of us wouldn't do.
We have a case in our county now that could sink a bunch of people and make many look bad.
This is a wait and see situation.
