We have different companies on the web for buying coats and pants. One is the Fire Store. I am allways getting emails from them about sells.
Iam of Portuguese descent myself on my Father's side. I think its my great great grandfather who came to America and lived in a small town name Scottsburg, Virginia with his brothers. All I know is that his name was John Francis and as to where he lived in Portugal we don't know. My grandmother didn't try to keep in touch with my grandfather's family and my father was a small boy when my grandfather died so there is not much to know.

because I believe that this is not easy to find connections between families. here in Portugal we have a lot of grace in terms of protecting the individual firefighter and that we have is purchased by us. that's why I came to this forum

there anyone who has one of these alternate equipment that can send to Portugal. you have more opportunities to achieve this type of equipment. in Portugal we have fire departments, with 10 equipments to 60 firefighter

I would say you needed contacts with either city or county fire services to get them to look into offering their used or outdated turnout gear (Coats, pants and other items) as we call it. As long as its in good shape and not damaged.
Some turnout gear have dates as to how long its to be used in service. Some departments have surplus turnout gear that have to be removed to make way for new updated turnout gear that meet the standards.
