As you all know , the holidays are fast approaching . What plans do you or your department have for your community ? When we lived in Denver , We cooked full Thanksgiving meals and delivered them to a few homes in the area we knew could use them . When we moved out here , we checked with the local sheriff dept. and was told they did not know of a list of families in need . Allot of local churches take care of the town . I would like to have a large cookout at the department one year for the families in need . Last year we bought toys for kids in a few families that would not of had them . This year , I am asking the board to adopt a few kids off the local "Angel " tree at the mall .What are your plans ? I hope you all have a safe and blessed holiday season . Be safe and God Bless .
