I remember where someone wanted to put remote control motors with wheels on the bottom of traffic barrels so that they could be moved at one time. I thought what if someone showed with their own remote control and have the things moving at the wrong time or chasing cars.
I think Traffic Barrel Monster is missing a slow sign and a flag along with a vest to make him official.
I think anyone would become a monster when you have to direct traffic all day dealing some of the drivers out there.

I laughed at it, but wouldn't want it in use here!

Scare people? If it did they shouldn't be driving, far more scary things on the roads! But I don't like it because it is likely to attract attention, have people looking at it instead of where they are going - as if we didn't have enough trouble with that already!

It might be distracting if you put something out on the highway like this but what if the characterization was used for billboards, safety shows, animated TV or radio commericals.
Have something like this
"HEY! I AM HERE TO TELL YOU TO SLOW DOWN IN THOSE HIGHWAY SAFETY ZONES. DRIVING THE REGULAR SPEED OR FASTER IS NOT SAFE. THERE ARE PEOPLE WORKING OUT HERE AND LARGE EQUIPMENT THAT CAN BE HIT!"
Just an idea.

All it's missing is a traffic vest, a slow sign and a loudspeaker to scream at ignorant motorists to slow the "F" down! I love it, stay safe!

THE GUY THAT MADE THAT IS A COLLEGE STUDENT HERE IN N.C.--HE WAS CONVICTED AND GOT 400 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE- THE CONTRACTOR WANTS THE BARREL MONSTER-(POLICE HAVE IT IN PCS. IN THE EVIDENCE ROOM ) BACK.. HE WANTS TO PUT IT UP IN FRONT OF HIS BUILDING....AND I THINK HE IS GOING TO WORK WITH KID THAT MADE HIM, TO USE THIS ON HIGHWAY PROJECTS
