I agree my EMT finals seemed much harder then the NREMT....Just make sure you know good solid basics!

the computer based test is not bad at all. just carefully read each question and think carefully about your answer. my test quit after 63 questions and i passed. my friends test was over a hundred and he passed so just make sure you read thoroughly. as far as the practicals go, you either know it or you dont. so remember all your critical criteria and you will do fine. good luck!

i have not yet taken it, but i would like to soon... some have said it is very easy, some have said it is very hard.. depeneds on how well u can remember

Yeah... I was already working as an EMT, got laid off yesterday... So I'm jobhunting but wanted the national to expand my job possibilies...

That sucks! Good luck with the job hunt, as far as the test goes, just know your basics and remember that there is always 1-2 answers you can toss out immediately. Also, don't analyze the questions too much, NREMT is notorious for people reading too far into it and over stressing themselves. Your gut instinct is usually right. Good luck!
