I guess I don't understand why anyone gets up set about repeat posts. You open the posts up yourself. Nobody forces you to open them. There is no reason to get pissed at someone who is just asking a question. YOU DON'T HAVE TO OPEN THE POST!!!! Its almost like your trying to bust someones balls for no reason. Why?
It is considered rude to open the umpteenth "What colors are your trucks" or "What do helmet colors mean to your department post" instead of having the courtesy to use the "Search" function to see what's been previously posted on the same topic.
In other words, this is like a firehouse kitchen table...if you start with rudeness, expect to recieve the same in return.
"People don't have to be jerks. They choose to." applies to starting a new post about something that's already been discussed to death and beyond.
while i agree with both sides. i do have to say that im sure not everyone on here has seen every post on the forums. so maybe starting a new one is able to include the new people. just food for thought. and i am not trying to start any problems just "spit balling" ideas.
I ask this ques a long time ago about the repeated posts and I have to admit the answer I got made sence.. That may be they may had been ask once before ,but along time ago..Should be that the answer you should get is that hey bud this was answered before and here's where to look thats all..Pretty simple... Your right some people have to get all jacked up over a repeated post.. Why I wonder .. It's a forum you are suposse to have a life outside of this forum..So why are you not doing it ..To get jaked up over something so simple hummmmmmmm......... I like to get on answer stuff and yet I still over look some of the posts for I have no good answer so next... I get jacked up over this forum being more of a dating services and how many times can I get picture of my eyes or my hair flipped to the side pics.. But in the long run oh well... Headind fishing now ...
Just shows how shallow some people's minds are on what is important or worthy of discussion. Talk about fire engine make, color, turnout gear, or the number of lights on your POV and you'll have five pages up in no time.
Anyone ever wonder why the fire service still has to stop traffic and beg for money to operate?
Wonder why Law Enforcement is the last to get cut, or why they get so much financial assistence from government?
Try to identify these problems' sources, or begin some logical discussion on these topics...and you'll hear the criketts chirp.
