Boston Fire Massachusetts Hiring anytime soon?????

Yes how is everyone I am curious on the status of Boston fire if they will be hiring in the near future. I recently returned from Iraq and I took the test before I left and did very well I am also a resident of the city as well. any tips or suggestions would be a great help.

Hey kid, apply at a FD that has some real fire engines. YA wanna ride around in an aluminum cab. Just like going to a fire in an egg shell....

We wont be hiring for awhile. Last i heard they have put off all classes for 2009. After 2009, i have no idea. I would suggest you take the EMT course, if and when you get on they are going to make you take it in drill school... beat the rush! Dont give up, its the best job in the world!! Keep taking the tests when they come around.
