After watching Sci-Fi's now famous t.v. show; Ghost Hunters, I started wondering about haunted firehouses. Now as cool as I think it would be to walk into the apparatus bay and see an apparition gearing up and jumping onto a truck; I've never seen even a speck of evidence proving my firehouse is haunted. I'm sure some of you however have some great firehouse ghost stories so lets hear em!!!!

We have one.....the ocasional cold spot, coupled with a helmet and coat turning on a hook.....all bay doors closed and the gear on either side stationary. Doors opening and closing. Pass devices all activating at the same time, bay doors opening on their own.....one time the room was rearranged after being set up for training. All this happens when there is only one or two in the station. Nothing scary. One of the old firemen that was actually a chief for a time was a real prankster. I spoke with some of the old guys who was the biggest practical joker and they all said Nealous......he was always at the station doing something....guess the old guy is still here.
