He should be punished, yes. But he didn't think his little girl deserved to get any help before he killed her, so I think that help should be denied to him, too.
I couldn't add to this thread this morning when I saw it. Too angry. We'll hear about what led him to this terrible act when he goes to trial. I cannot accept anything driving someone that far. I am a father and a grandfather - this hurts.
Justice? He'll be sent down. If the medicos decide he's not fit to stand trial due to insanity, then he'll still go down - in a psychiatric prison. If he goes to a normal prison then he's going to meet a lot of people who don't like the idea of a father killing his child. I don't think he's going to enjoy life for quite a long time to come. But then, his daughter only had four years of life to even try to enjoy.
