Ok... I have been an EMT-B in the state of ohio for 3yrs... so when my re-reg came up I didn't think anything of letting my NREMT card lapse. It was one of those things... I didn't plan on leaving Ohio and didn't really think I'd ever need it. And now of course I do. I'm planning on moving out to Oklahoma and was wondering if anyone could help me. I don't even know WHERE to begin. Is there even anything that I can do being as I let my NREMT lapse??? If anyone could give me some insight into any of this that'd be great. Sorry if this seems like a silly thing... but I'm still fairly new to all of this stuff!!! Thank You all!!! Stay Safe out there

You definiately want to hurry up and take a refresher and see if you can get your nremt again that way. I don't know how long ago it expired if its too late you may have to retake the class.
one of the things you might want to do is look ing to contacting the state that you are moving to and asking if they will honor the cert. from ohio , i know some states will do this and if not if you can challege the state exam to be cert. in the new state
ha! I did the same thing. All you have to do is take a refresher and retake the NR exam. That's the only option. Unless you have enough CE where you don't have to take the refresher. Either way, you have to retake the NR exam.
You will have to take a refresher and the NR test no matter what. Trust me on this one, I asked them a while back. No ifs and or buts about it.
ok.... but do I do that in the state I'm in... or can I do it in the one I'm moving to???
Take it in Ohio before you think about going anywhere or you may have to start over.
