Very good representation of truck work......BUT, the clip of the firefighter going through the tile roof is from Phoenix Arizona.
that was Ladder 37 on a residential fire. The firefighter that went in was pulled out promptly and sustained no lasting ill effects......other than a permanent pucker.

Frank Brannigan would roll over in his grave if he saw that video. Those crews were doing everything that Frank said not to do, especially cutting on that bow string truss roof. If those are unprotected vacant buildings why risk firefighter's lives???????????????????????????
Gotta love what those guys do for us in the interior, but I believe I'll stay on the pipe.

I was under the impression the video footage was intended originally to be used by LAFD as a "what not to do" training. I do have to say those guys have some brass balls...
This is not the orginal sound track for this video. LA let us use footage for the Firefighter Life Safety Initiatives Resource Kit Volume 1. You will see outtakes in that video. The orginal sound track is Ring of Fire.
BTW Don't try this at home ! Remember the owner of these buildings have already done a risk assessment and decided not to install fire sprinklers. So risking a roof collapse or breathing in products of combustion when the benefits (life hazard) aren't present may not justify the risk. I understand the need to ventilation I am just saying at least wear your SCBA and minimize the risk. So everyone goes home.
