Just curious to see if there's anyone here who has a old police car, that they use to respond to fire calls etc.

I've got a 1995 caprice with the police package, it has 2 lightbars, 1/2 a dozen grille lights, 4in lift kit, 35in super swampers, 6 radios and 10 antenas. I like to keep a few extra sets of turnout gear in it as well. I know you are probably wondering about a portable pump in case the engine doesn't make it out, yes 1 in the trunk with a couple of rolls of 2 1/2. There is very limited space for the hard suction, so I had to bungee it to the roof. Overall I think it is a pretty sweet set up. I only paid $400 dollars for the car and so far I have about 15k invested in it, not a bad deal if you think about it.

Could I have just said no. Of course I could have, but it would not be nearly as funny.
LOL @ the two lightbars.
I dont have one, but if you search the forums for one of the many "lights on POV" discussions sevreal people have them and pictures of thier light setups.
Iam not gonna light the car up with light's I just rather respond with something that's been chopped up for light's and such already instead of doing it to my perfectly good car. I may put a dash light up front and a deck light in the back and that's it. nothing to look like a whacker. I believe having more then two light's is going overboard.
In that case get a police jeep cherokee, four wheel drive and looks alot nicer than a caprice or crown vic. Whats a whacker?
Someone who make's their car or truck look like a christmas tree, I know your being sarcastic.
Oh, no I have never heard that term before. It does fit though, thanks.
My first car is a 2002 crown vic police interceptor from CT
Although i have blue lights on my car i dont drive with them to an emergency due to bi laws but when my dad goes he drives with them on.
I have a 2004 chevy impala i use nothing crazy thought.
Yes, actually.... Our chief's vehicle is an old police car that they had retired, and gave to our department...
CJ, as many times as I've passed over this I never even thought of Chief's car. Good call.
