I added this link sometime ago to the Vehicle Extrication Group Page and thought I'd share it here.

The link below is to an Australian book, 'A Photographic Guide To Prehospital Spinal Care'

I was a contributing author to the Vehicle Extraction component.

There's no sign up required- just access the link and download away!

If you just want the Vehicle Extraction compinent and not the whole manual, go to
http://emergencytechnologies.com.au/vet.htm

The techniques used in these manuals have pretty much been adopted nationally as best practice for the treatment, packaging and transport of spinal injured casualties.

The author's bio, "The author Anthony Hann is a full-time Mobile Intensive Care Officer with the Victorian Ambulance Service, spending 12 of his 22 years with the Metropolitan Ambulance Service. For the last 20 years, Anthony has been involved in the research and development of new spinal standards and training programs, now adopted by the Victorian Ambulance Service. He has lectured for over 10 years at Monash University teaching Spinal Management & Vehicle Extraction Techniques to Victoria’s new Student Ambulance Officers. "

FYI, I've just thrown out an invitation to the author of this book to come and join FFN- I'm not sure if he'll accept or have the time between work, teaching, writing, etc, but he's a fantastic wealth of knowledge on spinal care...
