Does your department carry pre-plans on your engine's or do they just sit around at the hall or in your Chief's truck? I know a lot of departments do pre-plans but they don't put that info in their engine's.
If I had to add one more thing inside the cab of our apparatus, we'd have to remove the officers seat to carry it all. Should we carry it, probably, but with 3 different map books, three different radios, handlights, handheld radios, etc. etc.
It seems to work out fairly well for the Chief Officers to carry them.
We have them in each front line, plus all staff officers have them. Also our M/A department have a copy as we do theirs. We are tring to get them put on our dispatch MDC's. If you could, I would like to see what type of forms you use. Keep safe. Thanks John

So far as I can tell we do not have them on the engine, But I could be wrong there, I am usually in the crew cab part and don't get much seat time in the officer position.

We keep copies of our pre-plans in our Eng #1, in our command van and at the hall. They are not as up to date as we would like but even so we feel they are critical to have on scene when fighting fires.
