Posting photos. . .

I enjoy viewing some of the photos that members have added to this site. There is one thing though that bugs me, I wish that people would add some sort of description of what we are looking at, nothing long and involved, just a short description.
Am I alone on this thought, or does anyone else feel this way?

nope that would be nice and I know I am guilty of not putting descriptions too, so any more I add I will try to add something on it

I agree. On my page, I've tried to include captions or descriptions to my photos. Stay safe!

I find it mildly irritating, and have left messages asking about some photos. Having said that, some of mine only have a title. But some have detail added where I thought it warranted.

PS. Note to all - please don't load 50 identical photos of your left nostril. One will do. And that really applies to most subjects!

I agree with you and that goes for video's too, I always put a title at least, sometimes a description.

this guy was smoking in bed and the results were embarrassing... a few words in association with a photo or video does make a difference...

I also try for a title but agree with others that it just seemed easier to go without descriptions and let the photo speak for itself. I'll try from now on to add at least a few words about the shot.
