I just finished fahrenheit 451 by Bradbury. (451=the flashpoint of paper) I thought it was pretty good, especially if you consider its over 60 years old. I just picked up 'Lies my teach told me.' interesting so far. Did you know Betsy Ross never made that flag?

After I was a captain for awhile, I started to feel more comfortable with leisure reading... I've been through the Marcinko Rogue Warrior series, all of Carl Hiassen (Lucky You) books, Koontz's Odd Thomas series is fun reading and as of lately I'm on the last of the series for the Doc Ford novels (Randy White). Reading is nothing less than an escape and help relieve the stress. these are all good reads, specially the doc ford series... TCSS, Mike from Santa Barbara
me, Tom Clancy's book series. like the hunt for red October, sum of all fears, clear and present danger, , Red storm rising, depth of honor, without remorse and many more.
I'm reading hunting and fire magazines, sorry I'm not much into books.
nick brunacini book B- shifter was good, John Salkas--First in, Last out is a great so far, not done with it yet, and I listened to the audio on 3000 Degrees by Sean flynn, the next one for me will probably be Probie Days.
Terry Pratchett, he's the favourite. And there's always Tolkiens Rings trilogy - I've read it about 25 times so far, might be time to pick it up again!
Emergency Care 11th Edition From Brady written by Daniel Limmer and Michael F. O'Keefe.

I'm such a good little EMT student.
Most of my pleasure reading is in books like the "Mitch Rapp" series by Vince Flynn, (CIA black-ops and counter-terrorism fiction) and pretty much any book that involves the FBI, CIA, NSA, the US Military (Special Forces/Navy Seals)
and anything relating to firefighting. I also get a large quantity of hunting/fishing/firefighting magazines that never get old. :)
Ted, I also just finished a David Baldacci novel, "Stone Cold", great book, can't wait for the sequel to arrive. My most favorite author, however, is Nelson DeMille, his newest book "The Gatehouse" comes out at the end of this month. I've read every book he's ever written and they are ALL excellent novels. (He wrote the book, The General's Daughter, that was made into a motion picture a few years back).
3000 degrees, so others might live, capt'n, rescue men and anything else on the fire service.
Well, since I work in an academic library and am a volunteer fire fighter, what I usually read @ work, particularly when I am on the service desk and not real busy but need to LOOK busy, is Fire Fighter Nation or something else FIRE related.
If you like Flynn, you might like my book. It's about a Delta Force guy who joins a clandestine organization after losing his leg. He's a psych ops guy who stages a UFO hoax. It's called Paradigm Shift by Harry Franklin.
Just finished a book called Body of Evidence, it was pretty good. I've read all the "left behind" books which was an awesome series. I usually bring a newspaper to work with me and you can never go wrong with the Maxim or Playboy that is in the bathroom LOL
