BUT I WILL TRY ANYWAY I'M A DETROIT FIRE FIGHTER WITH OVER 21YRS, I HAVE KNOWN MY FRIEND FOR I CAN'T EVEN COUNT THE NUMBER OF YRS LOVE HIM LIKE A BROTHER-THE DETROIT FIRE FIGHTER FUND ARE SELLING TEE-SHIRTS-FIREMEN FUND-313-961-2988 IF YOU CAN SHOW SOME LOVE FOR SGT. TORIN THORNHILL HE A PROUD FAMILY MAN GREAT FIRE FIGHTER. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO OR SAY NEVER HAD 2 DEAL WITH A CO-WORKER THAT IS DEALING WITH CANCER.

Dear Randy,
Please reply back with an address and cost for the shirts so I can send in an order. You also need to include information where donations can be sent that would include the name of the account so folks know who to write the check to, i.e. Detroit Firefighter Fund, or something like that... Check with the bank and the IAFF for more specific information regarding the rules for collecting charitable contributions. Your station steward should be able to handle this for you by contacting your locals' secretary.
I challenge others out there to donate money and / or buy one of these shirts to help our Detroit brother. There are over 24,000 members of the FFN. We can make a huge difference here for this firefighters family and his brothers and sisters that he works with.

I would also be interested in purchasing a t-shirt. I know how hard it is to find out someone you love has cancer. Mywife found out just before our anniversary. She had breast cancer and now has beaten it down with a vegence. So this is something i would support trying to help out other firemens families that need it because of cancer.

the best thing you can do is just be there... dont let the whole cancer thing freak you out... he is still the same person in his mentality... just go hang out with him like you normally would do... i remember when i had cancer my friends would come over and we would still play like usual... the only thing is that i could not go as long since i was three... cancer is tough but just be there for him... please keep me informed on how he is doing...

IT;S HARD TO DO THE THINGS THAT WE USE TO DO BECAUSE HE IS WEAK FROM THE TREATMENT,BUT HE IS IN A GOOD MOOD MOST OF THE TIME,THE ONLY THING IS THAT THE DOCTOR ONLY GAVE HIM TWO MONTH TO LIVE. MAN IS CANCER TOUGH.

Stay strong for him and his family, all my best to him, his family, and you guys at the station...his brothers. He is in my prayers and I will buy a shirt. Is there an address we can send the order to for the shirt? I do not have a checking account or credit card and need to send a money order for the shirt.
