you know there are people out there that abuse the 911 system well yesterday and today was one of those days we have a lady that calls 911 for the attention and well as much as I hate to say it this way I am she it a VARY Heavy lady sweet at times well she all ways calls 911 because she falls out of bed trying to lay on the edge of it well this happens 6 to 7 times a month and when that’s not bad enough she does it to a privet transport company which I happen to work for as well and ever time I just want to be put back in bed some times we transport now yesterday she fell in the bathroom of her town home and like always we have to call for the fire dept to come help load her medic unit took her in to the ER and they must have sent her home well about 0650 this morning we get call to that same place for a fall now by this time every one is tired of going and has it in there mind that all she want is to be put in bed .......... well this is what I get for thinking this ..... Before we left the station I had a call put out for the fire department to respond for manpower for lifting.... well that was a waste they did not get out so now I have 2 medic units and a BLS unit on this call well get there here she is in the bathroom again and I look down and she has a laceration almost all the way around her lower leg and it goes all the way to the bone so here we are trying to help her and all she wants to do is yell and say she is going to hit us with her cane and as we try to bandage her leg. well we get her loaded go to the hospital which is looking at us like we just sent her home till we showed them the injury and they where shock just like we where .. now my point to this is that nothing is the same about one call from another and some times we lose site of that because there are cases where you get that on person that all they want is attention and when some thing is really wrong with them it throws you off guard .
