Howdy yall from San Antonio Texas. Since retiring from the Fire Dept. and living on what is a so-called pension for a family of four. Terry, my wife of 20 years and 2 growing boys, Brandon 19 in college for computer science/coding and Kevin 13, a seventh grader, it gets really really tight. So what did I do? I got a second job as a nurse. I thought I could change some things but as with everything, theres so much red tape. And I found out later, you could work a a local barbecue restaurant earning $9.50 an hour instead of what a nurse's starting salary of $7.50 an hour and you don't get sued by a brisket or chicken and sausage.LOL!

So, I went ahead and took up scrollsawing to relax and lo and behold stared getting an order here and there for my unique wooden name plaques.
