Multiple-Alarm House Fire in Susquehanna Township, PA

FL92002 - We are now at 4704 Laurel Drive in the Mountaindale neighborhood of Susquehanna Township, where we see multiple companies from surrounding towns from Dauphin County, Cumberland County, and the City of Harrisburg, as they work to put out a roaring house fire. The fire was apparently started in a fireplace. Almost the entire house was damaged in the fire. Some of the companies seen at the scene are from Marysville, Progress, Harrisburg, Susquehanna Township, Linglestown, East Pennsboro Township, Middle Paxton, and Lower Paxton. I am sure there were more. Anyway, there is a lack of hydrants in the area, so we see a big drafting pool set up down at the end of the driveway, so that the engines and ladders could draft continuously, while tanker trucks replenished the supply as needed. This was a good working fire. Enjoy the view of all of the companies, as well as the hard working members as they persevere in getting the fire under control.
