Well my Dad was from Ohio, but was stationed in LK Charles while in was in the Air force,so we moved back to Ohio, and then I moved to Indiana. Be safe my friend...
Hi Jonathan,I was Born in Lk.Charles and get down there every few years, you keep safe my friend....I would like to trade a patch if you can and would do a Fellow cajon a favor.
Hi, the test was made up of SCBA timed test and components, hoist the 24" ladder and climb onto the roof, send up and down the ax, two person fold of tarp and cover, hook up 1-3/4" hose and the nozzle and bring it to the second floor bedroom and differentiate the types of fire extinguishers and their use. I was so nervous though. I hate tests. I over focus. Tonight is the written.
I'll ask you. I was a USAF FF. We wore hoods. BTW this was 30 years ago. Recently I've seen 'silver' helmets in place of hoods. I assume because BA's are a bitch to wear with a hood.
There was an incident a couple of month ago at LAX where the crash guys had hoods though. Just curious.
WELCOME to FFN ! :-) Add me to your list of friends if you would like to. Have fun chat and make some friends its great !
