About Me:

I'm a 45 year old male with two children. Both daughters. I've been married for 4 yrs to a wonderful lady. I was born in LaChine Quebec Canada on Valentines Day 1964. My family moved to Chicago Ill in 1965, and in 1977 we moved to McAllen TX, finally settling in Pharr TX, where I graduated from school in 1982.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

In 1981 I suffered a sever accident, breaking my neck at the C-4, C-5, C-6 vertibre. After being turned down for military services, I attempted the fire service on a volunteer basis, and found that not only did I love it but I felt it was my calling. Due to my accident, I felt that the "LORD" had a calling for me and that that calling was to help his people, regardless of their color, religion, race, sexual orientation, good, bad, etc., etc., etc., And I've never regretted it. I joined the fire service as a volunteer in 1982, and became a paid firefighter in 1984. My career has been nothing but fulfilling.
