Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I loved the thought of being able to help people when they're in need and I just felt that being in the emergency services was just a calling for me.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

I love the feeling I get from helping people. That is what keeps me going on those really long days after running a big or many calls.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

The people we serve is the biggest challenge for fire/EMS personnel, because most seem to just be out for money and look for any kind of mistake to claim a lawsuit over.
