I am curretly a Volunteer FF, taking the FF1 class currently. I am also an EMT-B, but soon will be looking to take an EMT-I class. I have taken HAz-MAT awareness and Ops, EVOC, IS100,IS200, IS700, IS800.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Firefighting/EMS has been a family tradition for many years. Both of my parents served as volunteers for 20+ years. My uncle has served for 30 years, and my brother for 5 years. It is a valuable way to serve my community.

Being able to have a dramatc impact on people's lives!

Personal liablity as it pertains to patient privacy. Also complacency at fire scenes.
