- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- In short, family tradition. I grew up in the firehouse with my dad, a Battalion Chief in Atlanta. My grandfather was a District Chief in Miami. The service was never pushed on mew by my family, but it just seemed to be the only thing that felt right. Now, 1o years later, I love it.

Need a little help from my fire service brothers and sisters

I am calling all fellow firefighters for a little help. My wife lost her mother in a car accident and Mother's Day is VERY tough for her. I entered her in a contest and if she wins if will add some happiness back to Mother's Day. Also, I am on duty (C-Shift) Mothers Day so I cant be with her to help her through the day.
