I try to live life as simple as I can. I'm blessed with an amazing wife & daughter. Love the outdoors (camp, hunt, fish, etc...) and time with family & friends. Unfortunately, I am now retired from the fire svc. as a result of PTSD & a list of things like it.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I had basic fire training in the Navy, and enjoyed it. Actually was talked into it by my bro-in-law, but would not trade it for anything.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I actually get to make a difference.....
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Lack of attention to stress management/mental health of our brother & sister Firefighters. Too many lives are being ruined as a result of post-traumatic stress not being adequately recognized/addressed.
