Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My firefighting career started when I joined my local volunteer fire dept. It all started when I was a child and always wanted to be a firefighter. As I got older and developed a compassion for helping others, I decided that, what better way to serve my community and help those in need. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I am now employed, by that same dept, as the engineer for my station.
