Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I began as a volunteer to give back to my community. Along the way I got hooked the moment I rode backwards on my first fire call as a tailored. " I remember feeling like a kid, heart pounding and saying wee as we rounding the corner. The cue screaming, siren blaring. I still get excited when I get a chance to ride or drive an Engine.
