Why I Joined Fire/EMS
To serve my community, and to continue my ministry years after retiring from pastoral ministry after 44 years as a pastor and associate pastor.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Because I have the opportunity to talk with and comfort as well encourage firefighters, staff, and families who have suffered great losses either in property or loved ones deaths.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Family Life, uncertainity of what they will find on a scene, and
occasional boredom when calls are few and far between in our department, also the "politics" of the fire district.
