Utah is my favorite place to ski. I just created a new group here on FFN, SnowSkiingFirefighters and thought you might be interested in joining. Would love to have you.
Hey Chief Ward,
I'm in highschool and plan on being a FF/Paramedic in a couple of years.
I just thought I would let you know that one of your FFs inspired me to want to become a FF. I believe his last name was Moon. My sister and I were involved in a MVA about 4 years ago and he responded and treated us like we were part of his family.
Don't ever forget why you wanted to do this in the first place.
Always take care of your partners AND yourself (physically & mentally).
Listen (two ears, one mouth), learn (lifelong) and have fun.
Figure out how to be the best team player possible (and then some).
Watch who you hang around.
Treat everyone with respect and dignity.
Remember --we respond to people's worst day of their life. ('Mrs. Smith' is somebody's grandmother, mother, or sister. Better yet, treat her like she is yours.)
Read Bruno's book on 'Customer Service' --better yet, memorize it.
Protect our reputation & don't ever do anything that would tarnish it; this is the noblest of all professions. (Read FDNY Chief Ed Croker's quote from 1910)
My name is Charlie McCoy and I am a fireman in San Francisco. I am looking to network with firefighters or EMS personnel who are interested in an opportunity to make an additional 8-10K+ per month. Do you keep your options open when it comes to making extra money? If making this kind of money aside from the fire department interests you, please email me or give me a call at 888-865-9962. Be safe, Charlie….

Keep up the good work!
Thanks, Cameron
