I have wondered what the best blace for a radio. Ive seen them in bunker pants pockets on a radio holder with a strap around the neck like they use in new york or is it best to use a radio pocket on your bunker coat .What about the use of mic clips the best place for them.

"This is my exact point. Wearing it as described by Alvin Gonzalez puts the bottom of the radio at my knee in an incredibly awkward position."

Hey Keith, I am with Crisp County Fire Rescue. Have you heard much about the new Sumter County Fire Dept? I saw on the news the county was not renewing the contract with the city due to time frame issues.

Thanks, John Sherrer CCFR 405

if you have the chance to piggyback with another department in your area, then that's always the best way to buy stuff. we do it a lot with apparatus, health insurance and equipment purchasing with the Los Angeles City and County Fire Departments. It's cool to save the taxpayers money on one thing to enable buying something else as well... Yea GSA! TCSS, Mike

Hey Keith, I've never heard of that manufacturer before. Would you like me to look them up for you and ask my vendors seeing that I am working in logistics for awhile? Let me know.
