I'm 22 years old, and just got thrown into the fire of being an officer of a small rescue squad. I know this forum is more towards Firefighters, and my squad is only EMS/Rescue, but hopefully someone…Continue

About Me:
I'm 21 years old and just got into the EMS field. I'm trying to figure out what exactly I want to do, I seem to like it all but I know I could easily get burned out being with so many different departments. Around here in NC There is no fire department that also does EMS so to do it all I would be a member of multiple departments.
Day Job:
Paid staff with South Point
Relationship Status:
Single
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
This is a long, long story. Haha.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The ability to help people in their worst case senario.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Here in my area, the money that is given to the volunteer departments are slim to none, therefore that is one of the biggest problems with my area for responders.
