About Me:
I am a 20 year old Firefighter with the Little Axe FD. For my day job I am a 911 Dispatcher for the Oklahoma County Sheriffs office, Dispatching for a total of 20 different LE, fire and medical agencies across the county. I love waking up every morning and knowing that I have been blessed with another chance to serve my community and maybe, if all is lined up well, even save a life or two.
Day Job:
Dispatcher
Relationship Status:
Married
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Thought it sounded like fun and I have a desire to serve my Community. We experienced a significant wildfire fire year in 2011 and 2012 and I found myself wondering why I was not out doing what I could. I applied as soon as possible and have loved every second since.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
a new challenge every day
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Probably the top issue that is facing first responders is a complete and total lack of understanding by the public of our function and our capabilities as responders, be it fire, EMS, or LE.
