I have been a proud member of Millard Fire Department for 2 years now. Our dept. is small but has some of the best people who I have the pleasure of calling brothers. I wear my 1024 unit#with as much pride as anyone else. Though I may still be a probie I do everything I can to not only better myself but my fire department as well.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I joined in hopes of finding a group of people who I can call role models and to maybe increase my chance with the ladies and for scholarships but not long after I joined I discovered how rewarding it is to help people, to be there for them in there time of need and I do believe I will not only live but die a firefighter.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Gives my life a feeling of purpose and duty.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Ungrateful people who refuse to get out of the way and let the fire engine by to be able to help the victims in need.
