Retired from United States Air Force. Worked civil service for Department of Defense. Volunteer majority of my time with County Sheriff's Office, Wildland Fire Crew.

Retired, that is if I can slow down.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
This is a lifetime committment. I started with a Basic Red Cross card in 1965. Went to advance card in '66. Worked as "Ambulance Attendant" and volunteer firefighter for structure fire company. Joined Air Force,Air Evac for 9 years. The highlight of my career. What else could I do for retirement fun. Join a volunteer wildland fire crew, of course.

Hey John, ever go to Clark Air Base, PI? I was there in 70's Crash \ Rescue on the flightline. I never got to Germany.
