28 years old been a firefighter since I was 16, I am currently the captain/training officer for the Cuddebackville Fire Department, I am an interior firefighter, a driver/pump operator, I have EMT training but missed my final and didn't get certified, I am also in charge of setting up and instructing our training and drills

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I honestly joined during summer break from high school just to have something to do when I didn't work to keep me occupied and out of trouble and by end of summer I was hooked
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I love fire/ems to be there for the community in times of need and I love the adrenaline rush from fighting fires
Top Issues Facing Responders:
I think the main issue facing responders right now is lack of membership, alot of departments are shorthanded because people don't want to volunteer anymore and think they should be compensated for the job
