"Years ago,my brother was a firefighter at his college,my father was Chief at another Dept. and I was volunteering at a station. I think it actually helped having someone close(like family)to talk over and discuss different calls."
!0 years as a Damage Controlman,United States Navy, 15 years combined volunteer service, Firefighter I NMSFMO !986, Too many Navy Qualifications to list....But to name a few, Repair 5 OSL, DCCT Team Member,Shipboard firefighting , Gas Free Engineer,Advanced Shipboard Firefighting, Team Leader for Flight Quarters Fire Party,#1 Nozzleman -At sea Fire Party and hey lets not forget the good times at GITMO or the Original USS Buttercup at Treasure Island, California
I have always been involved with the Fire service (considering my father was a career firefighter, now retired, sells for Petes Equiptment/E-One) so it was just natural to follow in his footsteps and try out the fire service on my own.I opted to join the U S Navy right out of high school and proceeded to fullfill my Duty as Damage Controllman for 10 years. After 2 wrecked marriages and a life changing motorcycle accident, I am currently working with On Scene Testing.
