Top Issues Facing Responders:
For the occasional WUI Firefighter to determine what is a safe assignment in protecting structures. Other than USFS, BLM CalFire and other State Fire Departments most of us only respond to WUI fire occasionally. Therefore our background does not have the necessary experience to determine what is safe and what isn't... Tough to teach.
