About Me:: The SCOTT Firefighter Combat Challenge is a physical fitness and endurance challenge for firefighters. We hold competitions all over the country every year. Our season starts in April and goes until the World Competition in November. It is our mission to promote and showcase the talents, skills and athleticism of America's firefighter heroes in an exciting and entertaining sports competition. The Challenge simulates the essential skills of firefighting - climbing a five-story tower in full gear, dragging and hoisting fire hose, racing around obstacles, simulating forcible entry, dragging a body to safety, etc. The event is known as "the toughest two minutes in sports."
