I was stationed in NC at Seymour Johnson AFB, there i joined Elroy VFD. I then got out of the military and moved to SC. I started at Mount Pleasant Fire department and then moved to the City of Charleston FD.

Firefighter

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
A good friend of mine was a volly for a long time. I use to make fun of him until he challenged me to join. I did at the ripe age of 17, i am not 26 soon to be 27 and i have not stopped yet. I am now a paid firefighter but I have not forgotten where I came from.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
I think it is safe to say manning, I left Mt. Pleasant Fire department because of it. They were riding 2 men to a truck company. With Charleston we are riding with no less than four people per company.
